PRESERVATION PLANNING AND RESTORATION OF THE 1783 PARISH HOUSE

The c. 1783 Federal-style house located at 7 State Street is the parish house for the Shrine of Elizabeth Seton and Our Lady of the Rosary Mission.  Easton Architects has been working with the church since 2002 beginning with an Existing Conditions Assessment funded by the New York Landmarks Conservancy and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.  This work led to the Exterior Restoration Project which received a grant from the New York State Environmental Protection Fund and was the recipient of the Lucy Moses Award.
